Christine Campbell Selected for Prestigious Textile & Craft Studio Tour in Kyoto, Japan!

We are delighted to announce that Christine Campbell, has been selected to participate in the Textile & Craft Studio Tour in Kyoto, Japan, taking place from 24–26 November 2025.

Following a highly competitive application process with submissions from around the world, Christine was chosen as one of just seven participants — four from Japan and three international designers and creative professionals.

“Guided by the founder of Mori Wo Oru and Commoning Studio, the three-day program, set in the northern Tango region — renowned for its silk weaving traditions dating back to the 8th century — provides an intimate and immersive opportunity to engage with local artisans, learn traditional techniques, and gain inspiration to inform future creative practice.”

This selection recognises Christine’s outstanding skill and dedication to preserving heritage crafts, and reflects her ongoing commitment to innovation, cross-cultural collaboration, and artistic excellence in millinery and design.
